Now look how we’ve sprouted.

Counting our blessings back and forth.
Our founding fathers gave birth
To now the leading country on this earth!

Just curb the drinking, watch thy girth
We celebrate our independence
While caring for beloved dependents

Sometimes Tom Madden is a poet, but reading most of his works, you’d hardly know it. He felt the hook of his first book was to make writing inviting, hence the title Wordshine Man.
